Job summary

Valinor is seeking a Flight Controls & GNC Engineer in New York to own the guidance, navigation, and control stack for our autonomous VTOL aircraft. With a focus on innovative engineering, you will design and implement control laws, conduct flight tests, and collaborate closely with a technical team.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, a deep understanding of PX4, and scripting capabilities in Python. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on flight controls or GNC engineering experience.
• Deep familiarity with PX4 and experience with fixed-wing or VTOL platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret flight logs.

Responsibilities

• Own the full GNC stack on the drone.
• Design and implement control laws; test them in the field.
• Conduct structured flight test campaigns.
