Job summary

A venture-backed deep-tech company is looking for a senior Flight Control System Engineer to oversee the flight control system for XBAT. Responsibilities include designing control systems with actuator redundancy, leading simulations, and guiding engineering teams. Candidates must have over 10 years of experience, proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and the ability to maintain a U.S. security clearance. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in flight controls / GNC on real flight vehicles, with ownership from design to flight test.
• Proficiency in C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and/or Python with real-time algorithm deployment experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver the flight control system across all phases of flight.
• Lead development of high-fidelity 6DOF simulation environments.
• Define and execute the verification strategy.
