Job summary

Valinor Enterprises in New York is seeking a Flight Controls & GNC Engineer to lead guidance, navigation, and control system development for their autonomous VTOL aircraft. The role demands expertise in flight controls, PX4 systems, and chaotic testing environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands‑on flight controls or GNC engineering on real hardware.
• Deep familiarity with PX4 or similar systems.
• Experience with fixed‑wing or VTOL aircraft.
• Able to analyze flight logs for diagnosing control systems issues.
• Familiarity with aerodynamic modeling pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own the full GNC stack on the drone including PX4 code.
• Design, implement, and iterate control laws for flight performance.
• Conduct structured flight test campaigns and data analysis.
• Support customer demonstrations ensuring vehicle performance.
