Job summary
LONG Building Technologies is seeking a VRV/VRF HVAC Service Technician to join our Colorado service team. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial VRV/VRF systems, serving as a technical resource for customers and other technicians.
We require 6+ years in commercial HVAC and 3+ years VRV/VRF experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong diagnostic skills. A company vehicle and PPE are provided. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and long-term career growth.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience servicing commercial HVAC systems.
- 3+ years of experience installing and servicing VRV/VRF systems.
- Valid CFC / EPA 608 refrigeration certification.
- Advanced understanding of commercial HVAC, VRV/VRF, and related electrical systems.
- Strong refrigeration-cycle troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex system issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial VRV/VRF systems.
- Diagnose refrigeration-cycle issues and improve performance.
- Troubleshoot wiring, controls, motors, and associated components.
- Perform VRV/VRF equipment installation, start-up and service.
- Train and mentor less-experienced technicians.
