Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN infrastructure with emphasis on Tailscale and WireGuard.

The role spans design, deployment, policy, client distribution, and ongoing optimization across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. The ideal candidate has deep networking knowledge, strong Linux skills, and experience with automation (Python) and Go code review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or 8+ years of network security experience in lieu of a degree).
• 5+ years of network security experience; 3+ years securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise on network security, firewalls, zero-trust architectures, and VPN best practices.
• Architect, design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN solutions end-to-end (Tailscale, WireGuard, IPsec, SSL).
• Own the full lifecycle of remote access infrastructure from design to maintenance.
