Teneo is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead strategic communications for technology-focused clients. The role emphasizes working with founders and leveraging media, podcasts, newsletters, and events to advance client goals.

You will help grow Teneo’s reputation in the San Francisco Bay Area while delivering best-in-class service with account leaders. The position requires 10+ years in relevant fields, a strong network, and a willingness to be office-based in New York with hybrid days.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategic communications for tech, media, financial services or healthcare.
• Experience counselling senior executives and collaborating with external advisors.
• Hybrid work from New York office with a minimum three days in the office.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex strategic communications planning and execution for clients.
• Demonstrate communications as a business driver for existing and potential clients.
• Oversee day-to-day account deliverables and develop high-quality materials (plans, talking points, memos).
• Act as a reliable resource for senior team members and oversee others.
• Leverage expertise in emerging technologies to anticipate market trends and guide clients.
