Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc. seeks a Group Vice President to lead a high-volume portfolio of 100+ units with multi-million-dollar P&L accountability. This executive will mentor Regional Operations Directors and drive data-informed growth while elevating medical quality and Associate engagement.

The role requires relocation to the supported region and extensive travel. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and finance skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / MBA or DVM preferred.
• 10+ years related experience; 12+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Group P&L and KPI performance across regional teams.
• Drive adoption of enterprise programs to ensure scalable, network-wide impact.
• Develop growth strategies to expand access to high-quality veterinary medicine.
• Oversee group financial health, capital planning, and marketing strategy.
• Lead and mentor Regional Operations Directors to elevate hospital performance.
• Foster inclusive, high-trust culture and cross-functional alignment.
