Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals in New Jersey is seeking a Regional Operations Director to lead performance across multiple hospitals, strengthen culture, and elevate medical care and client experiences. Partner with the Group VP and Medical Operations to drive operational excellence, talent strategy, budgeting, pricing, and data‑driven decision making for a regional footprint.

This senior leader role requires 8+ years of multi‑site operations, a proven P&L track record, and the ability to relocate or base

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a healthcare-related field or MBA/DVM.
• 8+ years driving multi‑unit operational performance with end‑to‑end P&L responsibility.
• Strong proficiency in data and analytics platforms (Excel, Power BI).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional P&L and KPIs with hospital execution and data-driven insights.
• Drive hospital performance by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing capacity and services.
• Coach hospital leaders to improve doctor productivity while maintaining medical excellence and patient outcomes.
• Lead pricing strategies, discount governance, and fee structures to align with business goals.
• Foster cross‑functional partnerships and ensure high‑quality client and Associate experiences.
