ITEC seeks a seasoned Vice President of Development to lead fundraising efforts in the New York/Tri-State region. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leader will focus on major gifts, donor cultivation, and regional growth, collaborating with executive leadership, the Board, and a global team.

The role requires building deep donor relationships, expanding the donor base, and representing ITEC at meetings and events, including Israel trips and an annual gala.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior nonprofit development experience.
  • Strong background in Jewish and/or Israel-related philanthropy.
  • Proven success securing major gifts.
  • Highly relational, credible, and comfortable engaging senior donors.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, organized, and results-oriented.
  • Able to articulate how sport serves as a platform for education, character development, and social impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising strategy and execution for the NY / Tri-State region.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and family foundations.
  • Expand ITEC’s donor base while strengthening existing relationships.
  • Partner closely with the CEO and Board on donor engagement and solicitations.
  • Represent ITEC at donor meetings, events, and the annual gala.
  • Participate in donor missions and engagement trips to Israel.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and international development colleagues.
