Job summary

Citi Ventures, the strategic investing arm of Citi, seeks an Investor Operations role in New York. You will support governance, performance reporting, and cross-functional initiatives across venture investing, product programs, and client development.

You will liaise with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations to drive transparency and efficiency. The role offers exposure to portfolio management, commercialization, and cross-enterprise collaboration within Citi's franchise, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Masters degree preferred.
• Interest in venture capital, startup ecosystems, innovation, and financial services.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, investment banking, consulting, corporate strategy, venture capital, private equity, business analytics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop clear and effective presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Compose senior business performance updates and leadership materials for Venture Investing Advisory Committee.
• Support Citi Ventures Legal Entity governance, including quarterly meeting prep and coordination.
• Provide broad operational support to the Citi Ventures team across functions.
• Partner with central Client Business Execution and Client Risk and Control teams on deliverables.
• Manage updates to the Product Program and internal Best Practices guide.
• Represent Citi Ventures in leadership and control forums across the firm.
