Job summary

PPM America, Inc. seeks a VP, Investment Content & Thought Leadership to elevate the firm's investment voice and deliver market-facing content across commentary, white papers and executive bylines.

You will partner with portfolio managers and subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into clear, differentiated narratives that support Distribution, deepen client engagement, and reinforce credibility as an institutional asset manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field required.
• Advanced degree or relevant investment industry credential preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in investment writing, investment communications, content strategy, thought leadership, or a related role within asset management or financial services required.
• Demonstrated experience supporting institutional investment audiences and partnering with portfolio managers, distribution, Product, and Legal & Compliance teams required.
• Deep experience writing sophisticated investment content for institutional audiences required.
• Demonstrated experience developing investment narratives, market commentary, white papers, executive bylines, portfolio manager interview content, or related client-facing thought leadership required.
• Experience working effectively in a regulated, review-driven asset management environment required.

Responsibilities

• Owns investment content strategy and editorial plan across market commentary and thought leadership.
• Develops high-quality content reflecting investment expertise for institutional audiences.
• Prepares interview content with portfolio managers and subject-matter experts.
• Builds a proactive content roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Ensures accuracy and credibility of market commentary and investment narratives.
• Structures content for reuse across campaigns and client communications.
• Collaborates with Distribution, Product, Investments, Legal & Compliance.
• Maintains editorial standards and review processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
