Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with extensive internal audit experience.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, CHIAP) preferred.
• Minimum 15 years progressive internal audit experience.
• Minimum 10 years in management within healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee an audit strategy aligned with governance and risk.
• Lead risk assessment, planning, execution, reporting and follow-up.
• Manage internal assurance department and external staff relations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators for compliance.
• Support Audit Committee with agendas and findings.
