Job summary

Central Garden & Pet Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Supply Chain to lead global procurement, demand planning, logistics, warehousing, and external manufacturing, aligning supply chain performance with growth objectives.

Reporting to the President, this role partners with Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and executive leadership to drive service levels, cost performance, working capital, and regulatory compliance across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management is required.
• 15+ years of CPG supply chain experience, with 10+ years in leadership roles (Manufacturing).
• Strong integrated supply chain and IBP expertise; deep understanding of supply chain interdependencies.
• Proven leadership in large organizational transformation with P&L and monthly reporting.
• Collaborative leadership style with ability to drive accountability across a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Direct global and domestic procurement strategies for raw materials, components, and packaging.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, supplier risk management, and supplier quality.
• Lead S&OP / IBP processes to align demand forecasts with capacity.
• Establish robust inventory strategies to optimize working capital.
• Direct warehousing and distribution operations to drive cost-effective performance.
• Manage external manufacturing partners and integrate capacity into production schedules.
• Ensure sustainability and regulatory compliance across hubs.
