Job summary

State Street seeks a strategic, global technology executive to lead the Senior Vice President, Alpha Technology Implementations, Interfaces and Platform Readiness. This role defines vision, standards, and operating model to scale Alpha implementations and align technology with growth.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, SaaS, Data Services, and Client Delivery to drive modernization, automation, and data-driven transparency across a globally distributed organization,

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen years of experience in technology delivery, implementation leadership, financial services technology, or related fields.
• Proven track record leading global teams, driving cross-functional alignment, modernizing delivery models, and delivering measurable client and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy and operating model for Alpha implementation across technology, ensuring consistent standards across delivery, integration, readiness, and governance.
• Shape firmwide implementation practices that improve scalability, predictability, quality, and speed across global client programs.
• Drive standardization of interfaces, integration patterns, environment and platform readiness, and batch capabilities to reduce complexity, improve scalability, and support long-term growth.
• Establish enterprise-grade batch stability and observability practices, ensuring dedicated monitoring capabilities validate SLOs, SLAs, and operational readiness across Alpha client implementations.
• Align Product, Engineering, Operations, SaaS, Data Services, and Client Delivery priorities to remove systemic barriers and improve implementation outcomes.

Education

Master’s degree in computer science or related field
