You will mentor a team of network engineers and oversee MSP operations, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on problem solving.

The role requires 10-15 years in IT with 8+ years in network architecture, advanced certifications, and strong budget/vendor management.

Qualifications

10-15 years in IT with 8+ years of network architecture experience.
3+ years leading a network engineering team.
Advanced certifications preferred (CCNP/CCIE, Arista ACE, PCNSE, or Azure credentials).
Deep expertise in global LAN/WAN and enterprise networking architecture.
Experience with Meraki or cloud-managed wireless and Palo Alto NGFW.

Responsibilities

Set architecture strategy and technology roadmap for internal and external networks.
Act as final escalation point for major network incidents with RCA.
Partner with Security leadership to define network security architecture (Zero Trust/SASE).
Own network budget, licensing spend, and vendor contract negotiations.
Lead multi-year capacity planning and lifecycle strategy for network infrastructure.
Build and mentor a network engineering team and set career paths.
Establish governance for documentation, change management, and standards.
Manage vendor and carrier relationships, including contract negotiations.
Present network strategy, risk, and investment priorities to senior stakeholders.
