Job summary

BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks a Fund Governance and Oversight leader at SVP level to direct fiduciary oversight for Directed Trustee roles of Collective Investment Trust and Funds. You will maintain governance frameworks, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure operations align with governing documents and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in collective investment trusts, fiduciary governance, asset servicing, fund operations, compliance, or a related financial services function.
• Strong knowledge of OCC Regulation 9 and related fiduciary requirements, with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, lead complex cross-functional matters, oversee third parties, and communicate effectively with senior management, clients, auditors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund governing documents, annual reviews, amendments, new fund launches, and changes to fund structures or eligibility requirements.
• Direct post-trade compliance, account reviews, NAV oversight, exception escalation, and remediation of valuation or operational issues.
• Monitor admissions, withdrawals, corporate actions, dividend investment activity, and compliance with fund-specific restrictions.
• Lead fund liquidation and wind-down activities, including coordination of liabilities, expenses, asset distributions, and required approvals.
• Oversee custodians, investment managers, administrators, and other service providers, ensuring appropriate delegation, controls, documentation, and escalation.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, Distribution, and client stakeholders to maintain regulatory readiness and effective governance.
