Job summary

CFO’s Domain, a SolomonEdwards Company, is a national accounting & finance consulting and recruiting organization serving CFOs and their stakeholders. The SVP of Finance will own the integrity of the financial function, including close, budget, forecast cycles, and leadership of FP&A and accounting teams.

This hands-on role requires PE fluency, M&A instincts, and the ability to translate numbers into strategic action for the CEO and Board as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience.
• 3–5+ years of senior finance leadership experience.
• Experience across FP&A, financial reporting, accounting oversight, or corporate finance.
• Experience in project-based/creative services or agency models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior finance partner to the CEO, executive leadership, and Board.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Oversee Controller and FP&A resources with clear ownership and performance expectations.
• Develop financial models to support initiatives, pricing, and new business opportunities.
• Drive budget-to-actual analysis, variances, revenue trends, and cost management.
• Improve visibility into project-level economics and margin performance.
