Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President, Agile Coach to lead the Agile Practice across multiple locations including Pittsburgh, PA; Lake Mary, FL; and New York, NY. The role emphasizes enterprise-wide coaching and transformation.

You will guide Lean- Agile adoption, facilitate workshops, and design roadmaps, partnering with senior IT and business leaders to accelerate value delivery. The ideal candidate has 10–12 years of consulting in financial services, deep SAFe/Lean-Agile expertise,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
10–12 years of experience advising senior IT and business management; securities/financial services a plus.
Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

Responsibilities

Coach enterprise lines of business on Agile, technical, and product management practices to improve business agility and team effectiveness.
Apply data analytics and performance measurement frameworks to evaluate Agile adoption, monitor transformation progress, and inform evidence-based decisions.
Design and facilitate the implementation of Agile ways of working and long-term transformation roadmaps across the organization.
Solve systemic, enterprise-level challenges in a structured manner, shaping scalable approaches ahead of broader rollout or pilot expansion.
Serve as a servant leader and change agent, driving mindset and behavior change through Agile advocacy, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
Facilitate trainings and workshops, define success metrics, and recommend improvements to strengthen team and program practices.
