Job summary

Purpose Financial in Greenville, SC is seeking a strategic VP, Compliance & BSA Officer to lead the enterprise-wide Compliance Management System and act as BSA Officer. You will partner with the Chief Legal Officer, senior management, and the Board to advance responsible growth while maintaining regulatory rigor.

You will mentor the compliance team, engage with regulators, and help shape a practical, risk-aware framework that protects customers and the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compliance experience in financial services.
• 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Deep expertise in BSA/AML, UDAAP, FCRA, ECOA, TILA, and more.
• A mindset that balances compliance rigor with operational agility.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Compliance Management System and serve as designated BSA Officer.
• Partner directly with the Chief Legal Officer, Senior Management, and the Board to keep the business moving forward responsibly.
• Mentor a talented team, engage with regulators, and help shape the compliance framework.
