Job summary

Qpex Biopharma, Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President of Clinical Development to lead strategic andscientific direction from first-in-human through early proof-of-concept trials.

You will oversee trial design, execution, and data interpretation, interfacing with FDA regulators and the Board to align clinical strategy with regulatory expectations. The role requires MD with at least 15 years in biotech/pharma, and leadership in early development.

Qualifications

• MD with 15+ years in biotech/pharma clinical drug development.
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and Boards required.
• Proven leadership in early clinical development and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of compounds from research to early clinical development (Phase 1–2a).
• Act as medical monitor for early-phase trials and review clinical study reports for regulatory submission.
• Provide Clinical Development leadership for late-stage trials in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop regulatory strategy with Regulatory Affairs and author/review submissions.
• Manage Clinical Development and Clinical Operations departments; oversee staffing and performance.
