Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a VAS First Vice President for Appraisal Review to lead the appraisal report review process, ensuring regulatory, client, and internal guidelines are met across assigned markets.

You will collaborate with leadership, manage risk under ERM/QRM, uphold PAG and USPAP standards, and mentor trainees while supporting client development. Bachelor's plus MAI with 10+ years of appraisal experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years commercial appraisal experience and 3 years review experience.
• Must have MAI designation and General State Certification/License.
• Proficiency in Argus, Word, and Excel; strong writing skills.
• Ability to analyze and present complex real estate valuations.

Responsibilities

• Follow the appraisal report review process within the division to meet targets.
• Participate in leadership meetings to support initiatives.
• Manage risk per CBRE's ERM and QRM policies.
• Adhere to VAS Practice Area Guidelines (PAG).
• Identify value with clients and determine approaches and scope.
• Research property information including inventory, sales, vacancies, listings.
• Prepare appraisal reports describing characteristics and methods used.
• Maintain USPAP compliance and confidentiality.
• Mentor trainees and support client development.
