Job summary

Catholic Community Services is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage in-home volunteer services for older adults and adults with disabilities across Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties in Washington. The role coordinates a large volunteer network, conducts home visits, and ensures client needs are met with referrals and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, volunteer management or related field.
• Experience managing volunteers or supervising employees.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills.
• Interest in working with elders and adults with disabilities and their wellbeing.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and priorities.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office.
• Ability to travel extensively in the area; occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of around 150 clients receiving in-home volunteer services.
• Maintain wait lists and prioritize service requests.
• Conduct in-home visits to assess program eligibility and provide enrollment materials.
• Record and enter case notes, track service status in database.
• Provide resources and referrals to other services as needed.
• Monitor client satisfaction and referrals; coordinate emergency planning with team.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers; support leadership roles.
• Develop community relationships and partnerships to create volunteer opportunities.
