Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Electronics or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in voltage regulator, PMIC, power management, or power delivery architecture.
- Deep expertise in power electronics, analog/mixed-signal design, and IVR/PDN concepts.
Responsibilities
- Define voltage regulator and power delivery architectures for future-generation products, from 48V/12V input rails to sub-1V silicon loads.
- Lead architecture, design, and evaluation of advanced power conversion solutions, including multiphase buck converters, PMICs, IVRs, and distributed power architectures.
- Drive system-level optimization of power efficiency, transient response, power density, thermal performance, reliability, and total cost.
- Develop and evaluate analog control architectures, compensation schemes, feedback loops, and stability methodologies for high-current voltage regulators.
- Collaborate with silicon, package, board, PDN, thermal, and system architects to co-optimize end-to-end power delivery solutions.
- Lead technology assessments and roadmaps for emerging power delivery technologies, including on-chip and near-die voltage regulation.
- Interface directly with foundries to enable integrated voltage regulator solutions, defining process requirements, device utilization strategies, reliability criteria, and technology roadmaps.
- Drive co-optimization of process technology, silicon implementation, package integration, and PDN architecture for next-generation power delivery systems.
- Partner with external vendors and ecosystem partners to influence future regulator technologies and product roadmaps.
