Job summary

Canary Technologies is seeking a Senior Voice Software Engineer to join our team. You’ll be a strong IC, navigate ambiguity, and deliver maintainable full-stack applications that scale for hotel customers worldwide.

You’ll collaborate with product managers to inform decisions and own the quality and velocity of our voice-enabled platform. You’ll mentor peers in code reviews, contribute ideas, and take initiative on projects with little direction.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development.
Strong backend development knowledge.
Proficient in JavaScript with modern frontend frameworks.
Experience with VueJS or ReactJS.
Track record of shipping high-quality products.
Self-motivated, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and managers to build applications used by hotel customers worldwide.
Write clean, self-documenting code following best practices and patterns.
Provide ideas to improve product and technology.
Think broadly to delight customers and grow the business.
Participate in code reviews and mentor peers; advise technical decisions.
Initiate and drive projects with minimal direction.
