Job summary

Bcore is seeking a Voice Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, deploy, and support Cisco UC environments across CUCM, Unity, and contact center platforms. You will drive security accreditation, lifecycle maintenance, and site standups while collaborating with network and telecom teams.

The role requires deep Cisco Voice experience, strong SIP/SRTP knowledge, and PKI management. On-site work in the DC area with competitive compensation and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in Voice/UC engineering in large enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Cisco Voice/UCCX/UCCE and UC components.
• Strong SIP signaling, SRTP, and call routing troubleshooting.
• Experience with PKI/certificate management and security accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy Cisco Voice infrastructure (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, UCCX).
• Implement next-gen voice technologies and support first-article engineering.
• Participate in security accreditation for voice systems.
• Manage PKI/certificate requirements across Cisco UC components.
• Perform upgrades, patching, lifecycle maintenance.
• Provide engineering support for site standups, dial plan design, endpoint provisioning.
• Design, test, and deploy call center technologies (UCCX/UCCE).
• Configure call routing, SIP trunking, SRST, CUBE, and gateway configuration.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather requirements.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and security procedures.
• Work in a large enterprise IT environment with Cisco Voice focus.
• Partner with network/telecom on integration.
• Support secure communications devices (VoIP endpoints, STEs, Viper phones).
