Job summary

Talan Group is seeking an experienced VMware Virtualization Engineer SME in New York City to support a large-scale virtualization platform. You will lead the migration to VMware Cloud Foundation and manage the VMware stack for high availability and ultra low latency.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience with large-scale VMware environments.
• Expert-level automation skills using relevant tools.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration to VMware Cloud Foundation 9.
• Monitor and validate capacity increase requests.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for automation.
• Provide 24×7 support on a rotational basis.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning.
