Job summary

INflow Federal is seeking a VMware Systems Engineer to design, secure, and optimize virtualized infrastructure for a DoD-focused program in Springfield, VA. You will lead the implementation and sustainment of robust compute environments across onsite and remote locations, leveraging VMware vSphere/ESXi, NSX, and Aria Suite.

You will mentor junior engineers, deliver high-impact IT solutions, ensure security/compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to align with mission goals, including A&A

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE or 4+ years IT experience.
5+ years of hands-on systems engineering with VMware.
Expertise in vSphere/ESXi, NSX-T, Aria Operations and Aria Automation.
Experience with Windows Server and Unix/Linux.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and secure scalable VMware compute environments.
Lead lifecycle management including patching and upgrades.
Troubleshoot VMware, Windows Server, and Linux systems.
Ensure security/compliance and support A&A processes.
Create documentation and SOPs; provide training to staff.
Engage with stakeholders to align with mission goals.
