Job summary

DTLR, Inc. seeks a Senior Visual Merchandiser to oversee merchandise presentation across multiple markets. You will travel frequently and conduct store visits to ensure brand standards and exemplary display quality, training store teams on visual merchandising practices.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and organize effectively with strong attention to detail in visual merchandising

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a compelling merchandise presentation across multiple markets to engage customer experience and drive sales.
• Analyze historical sales performance and influence merchandising strategies for anniversaries and peak periods.
• Perform daily store walkthroughs using Workforce Experience app to maintain high standards.
• Submit daily photo postings to Workforce Experience app showing before/after work for review by Regional Visual Merchandising Manager.
• Re-merchandise apparel and footwear setups, window presentations, in-store displays and point of sale areas to maximize sell-through.
• Coordinate with Regional Visual Merchandising Manager on fixtures, lighting, photos, signage, pricing concepts, POS execution.
• Implement the company’s visual merchandising directives across stores and vendor requirements.
• Communicate with Store Managers and District Managers about successes and opportunities.
• Provide daily follow-through on all merchandising areas via email.
• Provide on-the-spot training to motivate and coach store teams on visual merchandising standards.
• Lead visual merchandising aspects of new store openings and remodels.
• May act as lead or point-of-contact as requested by management.
• Understand merchandise flow, backroom organization, and how it affects floor set execution and replenishment.
• Partner with Buying Team to understand key merchandising strategies and communicate inventory levels or issues.
• Partner with RVMs, RMs and DMs in upholding store visual maintenance and executing directives.
• Perform other duties as assigned
