Job summary

Amentum seeks a senior visual designer to lead the translation of complex technical concepts into cohesive visual systems across training modules. You will establish and enforce visual standards, produce advanced graphics, and govern asset quality with SMEs to ensure accessible, consistent learning experiences.

This role emphasizes production governance, template development, and controlled release packaging, with senior reviews and 508 remediation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading visual standards and style guides.
• Three years’ experience with video equipment and editing software.
• Three years’ experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effects) and HTML5 workflows.
• Three years’ experience using HTML5 and JavaScript for interactive web elements.
• Experience defining accessibility expectations and Section 508 remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of visual design approaches across modules.
• Establish and improve visual style guides and templates.
• Produce advanced graphics, animations, and interactive elements.
• Ensure visual sequencing supports learning progression.
• Perform senior-level review of assets for accuracy and accessibility.
• Define accessibility expectations for visuals and remediation verification.
• Maintain team conventions for editable files and asset libraries.
