Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking experienced Technical Reviewers to evaluate the cybersecurity posture of enterprise environments in the Intelligence Community. You will conduct manual audits of virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, KVM) and NAS/SAN devices (NetApp, Dell EMC), ensuring alignment with STIGs, SRGs, and NIST 800-53/800-171 controls.

You’ll mentor Level 1 staff, assess encryption and access controls, and report clearly to leadership.

Qualifications

IAT-III or higher certification required per DoD 8570.01-M guidance.
CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or equivalent (Associate) accepted.
Experience evaluating virtualization and storage platforms in IC environments.
Ability to apply STIGs, SRGs, and NIST 800-53/800-171 controls.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive technical assessments and manual audits of virtualized infrastructure and NAS environments.
Evaluate compliance with IC directives, STIGs, SRGs, and NIST controls for virtualization and storage.
Provide actionable security recommendations and architectural guidance to improve posture.
Lead and mentor junior staff in IV&S inspections and risk analysis.
Communicate findings and remediation strategies to leadership and admins.
Stay current with evolving virtualization and storage security threats.
