Job summary

NetApp seeks a Senior Product Manager — Virtualization to define and drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for virtualization across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud. You will blend deep virtualization tech with strategic product leadership to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performing solutions.

You will partner with alliance and ISV vendors, translate customer needs into differentiated offerings, and own the end-to-end lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience defining product line roadmap and strategy.
Proven leadership working cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, legal, finance, support, and marketing.
Exceptional ability to communicate concisely and persuasively.
Strong documentation skills for PRDs, MRDs, product specs, and collateral.
Strong technical and business fluency translating data into business cases.
Growth mindset with bias for action and metrics-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Independently lead the product strategy, roadmap, goals, and growth targets for virtualization products.
Own inbound and outbound product management, synthesize market and customer needs into roadmaps.
Define the virtualization value proposition and support GTM strategies.
Align with hypervisor and hyperscaler partners, services, customers, and sales teams.
Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, Legal, Finance, Support, Marketing.
Serve as virtualization subject matter authority and external evangelist to customers and industry forums.
Partner with sales and ecosystem teams on GTM plays and report KPI reviews.
Balance strategy with tactical execution, focusing on customer needs and data-driven decisions.
