Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Virtualization Administrator to support the AEDC at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. You will administer, sustain, and optimize enterprise virtualization and VDI environments, including vCenter, ESXi, clusters, and desktop pools, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes platform sustainment, image management, backup/recovery, and security compliance with STIGs, while coordinating with networking, storage, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field; minimum 5 years in IT
• Alternative: 9 years of IT experience in lieu of degree
• U.S. Citizenship required for employment at AEDC
• Must obtain DoD Secret level clearance and access to AEDC LAN

Responsibilities

• Administer VMware and Omnissa Horizon VDI environments
• Maintain patching, upgrades, and lifecycle for virtualization infrastructure
• Develop and deploy golden images for VDIs and workloads
• Manage backups with Veeam or equivalent tools
• Coordinate with server/storage/network teams for issue resolution
• Ensure STIGs compliance and security baselines
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell/PowerCLI) and maintain SOPs
• Provide off-hours support for maintenance and incidents
