Job summary

Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in Austin (TX) or Cupertino (CA) seeks a software engineer to build and own world-class virtual platform models for Trainium/Inferentia SoCs. You’ll develop full-system models in C++/SystemC, integrate with QEMU, and enable software teams to run real workloads before silicon arrives.

You will mentor teams, improve tooling, and influence architecture decisions to maximize productivity and performance across AWS’s silicon stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development
• 7+ years creating functional or performance models
• Experience with C++ and/or SystemC
• Knowledge of SoC/CPU/GPU/ASIC architectures

Responsibilities

• Build and own functional models of SoC subsystems integrated into the full-system virtual platform
• Develop and improve virtual platform infrastructure and documentation
• Collaborate with firmware, driver, runtime, and app teams to optimize usability and performance
• Drive simulation performance improvements to handle complex workloads at scale
• Contribute to model architecture decisions and level-of-abstraction choices
