Job summary

American Councils is seeking a Senior Program Officer to lead the virtual course development for the Stevens Digital Leaders program in a Washington, DC hybrid setting. You will coordinate curriculum design, manage timelines, and collaborate with facilitators and partner organizations to deliver engaging online learning experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years in curriculum or online learning, plus strong project management and cross-cultural communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, international education, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in curriculum development, online learning, or international education.
• Experience with online/hybrid/virtual learning programs and LMS management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, coordination, and implementation of virtual course content and materials.
• Coordinate with facilitators and partner organizations to ensure high-quality curriculum delivery.
• Oversee course timelines, deliverables, and production schedules across program activities.
• Support participant application review, orientation, and on-program assistance.
• Monitor feedback and evaluation data to identify curriculum improvements.
• Draft reports and curriculum-related documentation; provide updates to management.
