Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Virtual Calibration Development Engineer to advance virtual calibration capabilities across manufacturing and automotive domains. You will collaborate with lab, simulation, and controls teams to improve correlation, automation, and deployment readiness for complex systems.

This remote role is US-based, with relocation benefits available. You will mentor engineers, help integrate virtual and physical test environments, and drive reliable deployment of new calibration

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, validate, and deploy virtual calibration environments.
• Apply virtual modeling and simulation methods to improve calibration processes.
• Support integration of lab and simulation environments, including dyno and battery systems.
• Coordinate efforts to resolve correlation gaps and lab issues.
• Automate calibration procedures and improve scripting frameworks.
• Mentor Calibration Engineers on virtual calibration methods.
• Contribute to the safe and reliable deployment of new calibration environments.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Virtual Calibration Development Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will focus on advancing virtual calibration capabilities that improve how engineering teams develop, validate, and deploy calibration solutions. The position will partner closely with lab, simulation, and controls teams to strengthen correlation, automation, and deployment readiness across complex systems. You will help drive efficient, reliable methods for integrating virtual and physical test environments while supporting the mentoring of other engineers.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, validate, and deploy virtual calibration environments
• Apply virtual modeling and simulation methodologies to improve calibration processes
