Los Angeles Kings in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Sr Video Editor to lead the production of original content from concept through final cut, collaborating with internal departments and external partners to meet video goals.

This role requires 4–6 years of experience, advanced skills in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and color/audio workflows, plus motion graphics and 3D animation. You will contribute to game-night and event content for a premier sports franchise.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) In TV/Film Production or related field
4-6 years related work experience
Experience with audio mixing and color correction within Adobe Premiere
Motion Graphics, 3D Animation
Experience working with a sports team is a plus, but not a requirement

Responsibilities

Lead on producing original content in various mediums from concept through final cut, including writing, editing, coloring, and managing external music and audio relationships.
Brainstorm new concepts for content and self-produce pieces within deadlines.
Assist with LA Kings Game Presentation and Events, planning and executing ceremonies and promotions at home games, and coordinating with other departments.
Develop best practices and suggest workflow changes to maximize post-production effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal and external clients to meet goals related to video content with the LA Kings.
