Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients to provide strategic counsel and deliver exceptional research that meets clients’ business needs.
  • Establish trust, respect and credibility as a leader and business partner to account teams, intelligence teams, cross‑functional teams, partner agencies and clients, serving as a key liaison to H&LS leadership stakeholders.
  • Bring new ideas into practice, develop them for commercialisation and benefit both the client and team.
  • Accountable for revenue growth and profitability of client accounts to meet firm’s financial goals, managing P&L and aligning local and global strategy.
  • Participate in internal and external new business pitches and proposals in partnership with the FH New Business team.
  • Monitor and forecast business performance, costs and resources in partnership with the Finance team.
  • Take a consultative approach to designing, selling and executing projects using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • Collaborate with FH colleagues to deliver outstanding insights and high‑quality results for the client.
  • Work with the intelligence team to ensure the highest standards, strong methodologies and quality outputs across a range of methods.
  • Engage stakeholders as a strategic consultant, ask the right questions, understand business objectives and scope research that has the most impact.
  • Ensure that insights, research and intelligence are integral to client counsel and programming, integrating offerings and developing a cohesive team.
  • Ensure that analysis and interpretation of data create a compelling story that meets client objectives.
  • Manage and lead a geographically dispersed team of researchers focused on healthcare and life sciences clients, scaling teams as needed.
  • Provide guidance on project feasibility, timing, staffing and alternatives, and work with account leadership on staffing and priorities.
  • Drive culture alignment with FH and TGI principles and values, identify top talent, and mentor staff with an emphasis on collaboration, quality output and career development.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of professional experience in market research, marketing, insights, analytics, strategy development or consulting in a research firm, consulting or agency environment.
  • Previous experience in a client‑service capacity is preferred.
  • Excellent team leadership skills and a commitment to team member learning and career development.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, team members and stakeholders.
  • Track record of building successful relationships across organisations to promote the impact and value of research, analytics and insights.
  • Demonstrable success growing revenue and expanding client relationships.
  • Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; ability to translate findings into actionable insights and present them to a diverse audience.
  • Experience with various research engagements, including corporate reputation, media monitoring, thought leadership, measurement and optimisation, brand positioning and AI integrations.
  • Strategic thinker who understands marketing strategy and uses research methods and analysis to deliver actionable findings.
  • Strong leader with experience managing large internal cross‑practice, cross‑functional teams and leading integrated agency planning teams.
  • Broad understanding of core and emerging analytics methods and approaches, including statistical techniques to drive value.
  • Enthusiastic about experimentation, comfortable with ambiguity in emerging technology landscapes and committed to building a research function that balances rigorous foundations with innovation.
