Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of project finance experience in banking, investment or energy sectors.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, sensitivity analysis and cash flow forecasting.
• Deep understanding of credit risk analysis, financing structures and project agreements.
• Formal credit training is highly desirable.
• English fluency required; Spanish preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to executives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent credit, financial, structural, and risk assessments of project finance transactions.
• Analyze and validate project finance models and DSCR and other credit metrics.
• Evaluate tax equity and back-leverage financing structures and sponsor buyouts.
• Identify and assess major project risks across construction, regulatory and market factors.
• Prepare credit approval memoranda and risk assessments for risk committees.
• Present analyses to senior risk management and committees.
• Support covenant monitoring, waivers, credit reviews and risk ratings.
• Coordinate with origination, legal, and portfolio teams to enable transactions.
• Ensure credit files are complete and compliant with audits and regulations.
