The ideal candidate has 11+ years in strategic communications, superb media relations, and a track record of growing client relationships.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in strategic communications, PR or related fields.
• Experience leading high-profile higher education accounts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and budgets.
• Experience in new business development and pitches.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior strategic counselor to clients on complex issues.
• Lead development and execution of integrated campaigns across channels.
• Mentor staff and guide client work with strategic direction.
• Draft high-level materials, strategy decks and messaging.
• Collaborate with leadership to inspire the team and pursue new opportunities.
• Participate in pitches and client-growth conversations.
