Publicis Groupe’s PLUS+ division is seeking a Senior Vice President of Data Governance & Analytics to lead data strategy across campaigns for global brands. You will mentor teams, design processes, and articulate client requirements into scalable data solutions.
Strong leadership and communication are essential. Responsibilities include guiding data governance, managing senior stakeholders, and delivering data-driven insights.
PLUS+ by Publicis is PepsiCo's dedicated global marketing and media operating model, bringing together the best talent, capabilities, technology, data, and expertise from across Publicis Groupe into one integrated team. Supporting iconic brands including Pepsi, Gatorade, Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Mountain Dew, and Quaker, PLUS+ is designed to accelerate growth, innovation, and transformation at scale.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team being built from the ground up and help shape the future of marketing for one of the world's most recognized consumer brands. Team members work alongside industry-leading experts across strategy, media, commerce, analytics, data, technology, and operations while contributing to a first-of-its-kind global model launch. If you're energized by innovation, transformation, and the chance to make a visible impact on a global business, PLUS+ offers an opportunity unlike any other in the industry.
Working across various teams such as Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams, Data Governance designs and enforces the processes and protocols to manage data effectively across the ecosystem in an effort to maintain quality, consistency, availability of data needed to produce client’s marketing performance reports more efficiently. We then work to understand key decision points so we can ensure the correct business logic is applied, documented and executed. Once that data is mined, it helps to optimize campaigns and tell the stories that bring our clients closer to their marketing, helping them understand if they’re talking to the people they want, and if they’re doing it the right way.
We don’t all look the same, and we don’t expect you to, either. But successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a problem solving mind, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more. We look for prior experience in media analytics (both digital and offline), understanding of data structures and data/tech stacks/infrastructure. You should already be used to representing your team to clients, since SVPs are often the face of our Data Governance & Analytics teams. We hope you know how to bring data to life and how to manage data in a structured way that brings efficiency and scalability. We’re also hoping you have at least six years of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least twelve years of prior professional experience.
Our Senior Vice President will work very closely with their team to help them stay on track with day-to-day deliverables. They also contribute crucial intellectual capital to their teams by designing and implementing standardized processes and protocols to enable efficient data management; they also behave like Business Analysts who understand client requirements and are able to produce clear documentation to facilitate automation of data processing. The Senior Vice President will also work closely to formulate a vision for the department, and then execute on that vision with their team. As such, Senior Vice Presidents are mentors, managers, project managers, and thought leaders, all at the same time.
Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger.
