Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an experienced RCM Technician to advance reliability through predictive maintenance across our facilities. The role involves monitoring equipment, collecting vibration data, and coordinating maintenance with operations, supervision, and planning teams.

Travel to sites is required; candidates should have seven years of hands-on mechanical maintenance, reading technical prints, and proficiency with MS Office and CSI software.

Qualifications

• Seven years of hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair experience with industrial equipment.
• Ability to read basic prints and apply information from manuals.
• Demonstrated aptitude through written assessment if required.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork with maintenance and operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and vibration data handling software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment across SX/EW, Powerhouse, Water System, IPCC, and mine sites.
• Perform vibration data collection and data analysis using CSI software.
• Load, dump, and analyze vibration routes; update CMMS databases.
• Prepare reports and daily planning via MSTs and work orders.
• Support RCM program development and mentor other personnel.
• Communicate effectively to provide feedback within teams.
• Participate with Maintenance and Planning groups; perform additional duties.
