Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a seasoned Maintenance professional to support the Reliability Centered Maintenance group. You will monitor equipment, perform oil analysis, and load data into lab software while coordinating maintenance through CMMS.

The role requires travel to other facilities and collaboration with vendors and operations teams. You will also contribute to RCM program development, mentor personnel, and ensure safety and environmental standards are upheld while interacting with

Qualifications

• Seven years journeyman maintenance in industrial equipment including pumps/motors.
• Ability to read and apply information from manuals and references.
• Must meet competencies and pass any required written assessment.
• Commitment to safety and environmental policies within a team.
• Windows proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Level I Oil Analysis certification within one year of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and good performance record.
• Able to work with chemicals, solvents and gases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment across SX/EW, smelter, concentrator, crushing/ conveying, water, mine areas.
• Conduct oil analysis using laboratory instruments and software.
• Load and analyze oil data with current lab management software.
• Collect data and report using ICP-OES, FTIR, viscometers and more.
• Prepare reports and give presentations; plan maintenance orders in CMMS.
• Support and develop the RCM program; mentor colleagues.
• Communicate feedback and collaborate with Maintenance and Planning.
• Learn how RCM/PdM tech integrates with lubrication data; perform other duties.
