Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Senior Vibration Technician to monitor equipment and perform vibration analysis as part of the Reliability Centered Maintenance Group.

The role involves travel to various facilities and interaction with vendors and company personnel, conducting data collection and reporting with safety as a priority. The position requires working in confined spaces and around moving, energized equipment, with strong teamwork and communication skills, and a willingness to learn

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read basic prints and technical manuals.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Level I certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment including SX/EW, Powerhouse, Water System, IPCC, Mine (Shovels, Drills, Haulage) and outlying areas.
• Perform vibration data collection using CSI software.
• Load, dump, and analyze vibration route data and update associated databases.
• Build/Present reports and daily plans using MSTs and CMMS work orders.
• Collect data, analyze and report findings.
• Support the RCM Program and educate other personnel in RCM areas.
• Communicate effectively to provide feedback and mentor others in the program.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Planning teams.
• Perform additional duties as required.
