Job summary

Playrix is seeking an experienced VFX Artist to bring bold, independent artistic vision to one of the world’s top-grossing mobile games. You will have creative freedom to shape effects, visuals and interactions that enhance gameplay and storytelling.

Collaborate with designers, programmers and other artists to craft textures, sequences and animations in Unity, optimize effects for mobile, and push the studio’s art direction forward.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an effects artist or animator, preferably in mobile projects.
• Excellent sense of composition, color, timing, and dynamics.
• Strong skills in creating and optimizing effects in Unity, Unreal, and other game engines.
• Knowledge of animation principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
• Fluent in Russian.

Responsibilities

• Development and visualization of complex linear tasks on effects in the feature team
• Creation of UI and object animation, VFX of player interaction with UI and main elements of the feature
• Creation of textures, sequences, and animations, and optimization of effects
• Initiating and coordinating decisions with VFX artists, game designers, and programmers to achieve a high level of visual quality
