Job summary

MIH Systems Group is seeking a Senior VFD Technician in New York City. Responsibilities include installing and repairing VFD systems, troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and establishing client relationships. Candidates should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Variable Frequency Drives and the ability to work independently. The estimated salary ranges between $45 - $64 per hour, flexible based on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple manufacturers of Variable Frequency Drives.
• Valid driver's license; ability to lift 50 pounds and work from heights.
• Experience programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA & 0-10 Vdc devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and commission VFD units in the field.
• Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize callbacks.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers.

Skills

Hands-on experience with VFD

Knowledge of three phase motors

Mechanical assembly and troubleshooting

Interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
