Job summary

Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center in Central Point, Oregon, seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Emergency and Critical Care specialist to join a premier regional referral center. You will manage high-acuity cases and lead ICU teams in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Oregon veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) or Residency Trained in Emergency and Critical Care and board eligible.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-acuity emergency and ICU patients, including stabilization and ongoing critical care.
• Provide comprehensive care for complex, unstable patients in an ICU setting.
• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary rounds with Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Urgent Care.
• Utilize advanced critical care therapies and monitoring, including ventilation and high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborate with ICU nurses to develop individualized treatment plans based on real-time data.
