Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the efforts of civilian and/or military Vessel Traffic Management Specialists during a shift.
• Take initial response action for incidents; contact appropriate personnel and issue instructions.
• Monitor vessel reports, safety broadcasts, and transmissions; operate surveillance sensors and communications equipment.
• Direct vessel movement during hazardous conditions per regulations and Captain of the Port orders.
