Job summary

Consor in San Francisco seeks a senior vertical building construction manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex high-rise projects across multiple phases. You will lead integration among the owner, Design-Build team, trade partners, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, budget discipline, and quality from preconstruction through closeout.

With 10+ years of experience in commercial, residential, or healthcare vertical builds, you will read and interpret

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in CM/Civil/Architectural or related field required.
  • 10+ years in vertical building projects (commercial, high-rise, etc.).
  • Ability to read/interpret plans and specs; Proficient with Primavera P6, Bluebeam, MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, local codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Coordinate integrated activities across multiple project phases to maintain schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with phased occupancy and site operations.
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify critical path activities.
  • Evaluate potential delays and implement recovery plans when necessary.
  • Monitor contractor performance for safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress.
  • Coordinate resolution of field issues and design conflicts.
  • Ensure QA/QC processes throughout construction.
