Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Veritas eDiscovery Platform Engineer to join a fast-paced legal tech team in support of government accounts. The role centers on maintaining the Veritas eDiscovery Platform, handling configurations, monitoring, and incident response, while enabling cloud migration and automated maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate has experience with enterprise storage, backups, and scripting (PowerShell/VBScript) to automate routine admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with Veritas eDiscovery Platform (eDP) engineering and support.
• Ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise storage and backups.
• Familiarity with cloud migrations and remote system administration.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical meetings to review program objectives.
• Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting using current docs.
• Record change requests and manage storage migrations and decommissions.
• Monitor system components and coordinate with vendors and site support.
• Respond to alerts with corrective actions and escalations.
• Apply OS patches and upgrade admin tools and end-user apps.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell and VBScript as needed.
• Maintain daily system monitoring of hardware and services.
• Review logs to verify scheduled backups and jobs.
• Support remote environments and SLA adherence.
• Prepare technical assessments with tasks, time estimates, and effort.
