Job summary

The Honest Kitchen is seeking a Vendor QA Senior Technologist to lead the Vendor Quality Program, review COAs, and maintain supplier compliance. This on-site role is based in Topeka, KS, with responsibility for material control, SCARs, NCRs, and ongoing quality improvements.

You will collaborate with Quality, R&D, Procurement, and Operations to ensure specifications align with THK standards and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or related field, or 2+ years QA experience.
• Food or pet food supplier quality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and document control skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement elements of the Vendor Quality Program, including procedures and work instructions.
• Review COAs and ensure supplier compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Maintain the approved supplier list and scorecards; manage SCARs and NCRs.
• Monitor COAs and material performance, and verify supplier documentation and compliance.
